Itinerary

Day 1
If Come Yogyakarta in the Morning

After pick you up at Yogyakarta airport about 07:00 – 09:00 , we will go to Timang beach (driving about 3 hours). You can get lunch at local seafood restaurant (Kedai Pak Sis), favorit menu is Lobster, you can get cheaper price about package menu 1kg lobster, fish barbeque, squid, steam rice, sambal and vegetables.

The restaurant also the transfer point of Timang Jeep, because the road to timang beach is very broken we can’t use standar car to there, that why your trip must be transfer by shuttle jeep. And it is your adventure begins.

Day 2
Yogyakarta Historical Tour

BOROBUDUR SUNRISE (driver will pick you up at 03:30);
The Borobudur Temple, Indonesia’s spectacular site, allows you to the travel back in time to enjoy an unrivaled combination of history, culture, spiritually and natural beauty. Borobudur is best seen at dawn, when the air is fresh and full of birdsong. As the mist begins to lift, the sun scales the surrounding volcanoes and terraced fields, and highlights the stone reliefs and the many faces of Buddha. Glimpsing Borobudur for the first time is often a deeply felt emotional experience.

KRATON / SULTAN PALACE;
Kraton or the Sultan Palace is the official residence of the Sultan of Yogyakarta. Kraton means the place where the “ratu” or king resides. It was built in 1755-1756 under the leadership of Mangkubumi. The palace is located in the middle of Banyan Forest because it is between two rivers which is considered the perfect site to avoid possible flooding. The architecture of Kraton follows Javanese philosophy and mythological belief system. His Majesty Sri Sultan Hamengkubuwono X or HB X is the current sultan and governor of Yogyakarta. He, his wife and their five daughters call Kraton their home.

TAMANSARI WATER CASTLE;
Taman Sari was the former royal garden of the Sultan of Yogyakarta. It was a resting area, meditation area and hiding place of the Sultan. It used to have an artificial lake, garden with flowering plants and pool complex. Today, only the pool complex remained as a reminder of a once flourishing area. The pool complex has the pools of the concubine, the tower where the sultan stayed to spy on his concubines and a private pool where the sultan and his chosen concubine frolicked for hours.

PRAMBANAN SUNSET;
Candi Prambanan or Candi Rara Jonggrang is the largest Hindu temple area in Indonesia. This 9th-century temple ground is a World Heritage Site that has a 47-meter tower as its focal point. Candi Prambanan used to have 240 temples, but only 16 of these remain standing as of this writing. Like the Angkor Wat complex in Cambodia, Prambanan is a representation of Mount Meru, the holy home of Hindu gods headed by Shiva.

Day 3
Yogyakarta Caves Adventure

JOMBLANG CAVE (driver will pick you up at 06:00);
First uniqueness of this cave is when we enter the cave. The cave is like a hole. It is vertical. The deepest of the cave is 80 m. If the travellers want to go inside they must use a rope. Single Rope Technique is the technique to enter the Jomblang Cave. Standard technique to enter and get out on the vertical place.
The second uniqueness is the sun shine. The beauty of the sun shines that break through in the the darkness of the bottom of cave makes the amazing beauty.

CAVE TUBING PINDUL and OYA RIVER (Lazy River);
Wading across a river using boat is something common, but if the river is located inside a cave, of course it will be an enjoyable yet challenging experience. Pindul is a cave that becomes part of the group of seven caves with underground river flowing inside. It is located in a village named Bejiharjo, Karangmojo and it offers the real sensation of adventure. For about 45 to 60 minutes, visitors will be invited to go along the river in the darkness of the bowels of the earth with 300 meters length using lifebelt. This is an activity combining body rafting and caving, and later called cave tubing.

Day 4
Sightseeing Tour and Selfie

MERAPI LAVA TOUR (Driver will pick you up at 07:30)
Merapi lava tour is an extrem adventure travel by WILLYS JEEP through rocky road. The most interesting is the tourist will be invited to exploer the rest of eruption of Mount Merapi from various angles. Not only seeing the volcanoes but also people could be spoiled by the beauty of nature.
